A recent provincial survey finds that an alarming number of elementary school staff across Ontario have either been subjected to, or witnessed, violence against educators. A similar story locally with 2,866 violent incidents reported from January to April across the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board . The numbers are shocking to some, but come as no surprise to front liners.
