PETERBOROUGH TEACHERS FACED OVER 2,800 VIOLENT INCIDENTS: ETFO REPORT

A recent provincial survey finds that an alarming number of elementary school staff across Ontario have either been subjected to, or witnessed, violence against educators. A similar story locally with 2,866 violent incidents reported from January to April across the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board . The numbers are shocking to some, but come as no surprise to front liners. David Berger, president of the local branch of the Elementary Teacher’s Federation of Ontario, joins Noor Ibrahim with more.
