The Ford government’s education cutbacks will shrink the number of teachers and threaten “even the core curriculum required to graduate” at smaller rural schools,” says the Bluewater District School Board, which is located in Education Minister Lisa Thompson’s riding of Huron-Bruce.

Toronto StarIn a letter to Education Minister Lisa Thompson, as reported in The Toronto Star, Board Chair Jan Johnstone and Vice-Chair Jane Thomson say the cuts are “a substantial loss in both teaching and programming support for our students.”
