ETFO Serves Notice to Bargain

On June 13, 2022 ETFO served notice to bargain on the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA), the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) and the government. Notice to bargain advises them of ETFO’s intention to renegotiate Teacher, Occasional Teacher, DECE, ESP and PSP collective agreements that will be expiring on August 31, 2022.

Under the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act, central table partners must now meet within 15 days, or a mutually agreed upon time, to start discussions that will determine the list of issues to be negotiated at the Teacher/Occasional Teacher and Education Worker central tables. Members will be apprised of these meeting dates when they are confirmed.
