Grand Erie District School Board is pleased to announce that it has reached agreements with two local ETFO labour unions, concluding all of Grand Erie’s educator union agreements. These agreements were ratified by the Board on February 26, 2024, and the term of the agreements span 2022 through to 2026.
- ETFO – Occasional Teachers (ratified by the union March 5, representing 445 staff)
- ETFO – Grand Erie Elementary Teachers (ratified by the union March 7, representing more than 1170 staff)
Grand Erie recently announced it had reached agreements with three local OSSTF unions.
“The spirit of partnership continued in negotiations with ETFO educators, and we have concluded agreements that are in the best interest of all parties and students,” said Susan Gibson, Chair of the Grand Erie District School Board. “With agreements reached with OSSTF and ETFO staff, we can work together to build a culture of learning, well-being and belonging.”
