Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative settlement for a renewed collective agreement with the Ontario Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO). ETFO represents the Designated Early Childhood Educators (DECE) employed by the board.
The details of the Memorandum of Settlement remain confidential and are subject to local ratification by the ETFO/DECE membership. DCDSB staff will bring forward the tentative settlement for ratification at an upcoming Board of Trustees meeting. ETFO is in the process of determining its ratification vote date for the membership.
The DCDSB remains committed to working closely with all partners to provide outstanding Catholic education to approximately 22,500 elementary and secondary students in Durham Region, in addition to thousands of adult and continuing education learners.
