Many of Ontario’s teachers will soon vote on whether to strike.
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario has informed its 84,000 members that an online voting system, which will operate from November 9 to 18, will determine whether the majority of the group supports the possibility of a strike.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association has already planned a separate strike vote, which will take place on November 12 and 13.
