ETFO Serves Notice to Bargain on OPSBA, CTA and the Government

On June 13, 2022 ETFO served notice to bargain on the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA), the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) and the government. Notice to bargain advises them of the Federation’s intention to renegotiate ETFO Teacher, Occasional Teacher, Designated Early Childhood Educator, Educational Support Personnel and Professional Support Personnel collective agreements that will be expiring on August 31, 2022.

ETFO members were advised that notice to bargain had been served in a Collective Bargaining eNewsletter sent out shortly after OPSBA, OCSTA and the government were notified.

Under the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act, the central table parties must now meet within 15 days, or a mutually agreed upon time, to start discussions that will determine the list of issues to be negotiated at the Teacher/Occasional Teacher and Education Worker central tables.
